For costumes not really made for their modest value, Renaissance costumes are pretty modest for the most part.
Of course they do tend to show a lot of cleavage, but these are easy to deal with. The most common ways to fix the cleavage issue is with a modesty panel or a lace scarf. If you also need to cover the arms as well then a high necked, long sleeved top would work out better.
